You can game online together, as in Second Life, or watch the same movie at the same time like you would together. This can make you feel close to each other as you are sharing the same experiences at the same time.
Remember to talk about the future and try and visit each other as often as possible. This will keep the romance alive. And when you are feeling down that your currently in a long distance relationship, bear in mind that there are benefits to be had from the situation. You learn to appreciate each other and not take each other for granted, you develop a strong sense of trust and a special bond– more than if you lived together under the same roof and the longing for physical intimacy can make the reunion explosive!
